Den Store Bjørn

Den Store Bjørn, translated, The Great Bear, is the largest wooden Danish sailing ship that still sails. She was built in 1902 and converted into a three-masted gaff schooner in 1980. This beauty has crossed the Atlantic Ocean several times and is coming to Harlingen for the first time this year during the Tall Ships Races.

8 permanent crew and 12 trainees are on board.
