LOA

LOA was built in 1922 as a three-masted schooner in Svendborg, Denmark. She is Denmark’s only surviving barquentine and the country’s third A-class ship. She is from the Danish sailing training fund Tall Ship Aalborg Fonden. The ship has been restored in 2004. It is one of the largest restoration projects in recent Danish history. More than a hundred volunteers and a few professionals have worked on the restoration.
