Shabab Oman II

Shabab Oman II is a real eye-catcher. It is the sailing training ship of the Royal Navy of Oman. The three-masted square-rigged clipper, with her distinctive v-shaped hull, is built for speed. She has 29 sails of 2630 square meters and can therefore reach a sailing speed of up to 17 knots. Shabab Oman II is a design by Dykstra Naval Architects Amsterdam and built by the Dutch shipbuilder Damen.

58 permanent crew and 36 trainees are on board.
