After three fantastic days, Harlingen is gearing up for the Sail Out Parade. The tall ships will set sail for Antwerp from 11.30 am. You can still join the Sail Out Parade on a traditional sailing ship. You’ll then be part of the fleet sailing out of the harbour.
The order of the Sail Out Parade
The smaller tall ships were moored in the Zuiderhaven this weekend. These C- and D-class ships are the first to set sail. They will be ready at 11.25 am to pass under the bridge and head out to sea. Led by the Urania, which is waiting for them in the Kimstergat, they leave the harbour.
From 12.15 pm, the larger tall ships will be leaving Harlingen.

The programme
Following the Sail Out Parade, there are still plenty of activities taking place in Harlingen harbour. Today’s musical line-up is centred around ‘De Vrienden van Harlingen Live’. With bands such as The All Known, The Woods and Gratis Bier on the main stage, it promises to be a great finale. Newells, Taek & Band and Maatstaaf will be performing at De Deining. In addition, the Handelskade is still open to visitors today, and you can visit the SeaSide Market and the Ferris wheel, whilst there are plenty of children’s activities at the Piratenkaai.
