After three fantastic days, Tall Ships Races Harlingen is getting ready for the final evening with the Amazing Stroopwafels and the Hubert Heeringa Band & Friends with a dazzling laser show at the end. Tomorrow is the fourth and final day with a number of programme elements not to be missed.
The day begins tomorrow at 9.30am with the Blessing of the Sails. To bless the sails and wish the crew a safe journey, there will be a service by Pastor Robin Voorn for all crew on board the Dar Mlodziezy. For the public, the service can be followed from the quay.
Following the Blessing of the Sails, a small Sail Out will start at 10.30am. The LOA, Urania and nine tallships from the Zuiderhaven will leave Harlingen as early as 10.30am. This spectacle is easy to follow on the quay, but is even more beautiful on board a tallship or traditional sailing ship. These cruises leave at 10.00 am, tickets for both are still available.
