Belfer is designed as a sturdy and manoeuvrable vessel, suitable for training cruises and competitions. Its compact size and easy handling make it an ideal tall ship for young sailors. Since her construction, Belfer has mainly been used for sail training programmes and regional sailing events. Three permanent crew members sail on board, supplemented by five trainees.
