Tall ship Betty is more than a century old. She was built in 1913 as a replica of traditional southern English crab catchers. Her hull is based on the original design of the fishing vessels that fished the Atlantic and English Channel. Betty is one of the first replicas to emphasise its traditional appearance and simple rigging methods. On board are four permanent crew members and six trainees.
