Cykas was built in Ukraine in 1999. The yacht was bought by sailing enthusiasts in 2021. They wanted to take it on beautiful expedition cruises. But after the purchase, it was first time to refurbish the tall ship. The plan was to refresh the deck and sides and make minor adjustments. But as is often the case, more came after. After three years of hard work, Cykas was launched again in 2024. The beautiful sailing voyages can begin, including this year's participation in the Tall Ships Races.
