Frederyk Chopin

Frederyk Chopin

This white ship with the red stripe above the waterline, her crew wearing red and blue polo shirts and the mascot, a red bird with a yellow beak, are a unique sight in themselves. The Frederyk Chopin is a two-masted training ship.

History

The Frederyk Chopin was built in Gdansk from 1990 to 1992. The ship was named after the famous nineteenth-century Polish composer Fryderyk Chopin and was used for sailing training and international training programmes from the beginning.
