The light vessel Jenni Baynton was built in 1949 and was previously used as a British floating lighthouse. Towards the end of the 20th century, the vessel was used as a nightclub for a long time. It has since been purchased and converted into a radio monument and broadcasting station in the harbour of Harlingen. Since 2005, the vessel has served as the broadcasting vessel for Radio Waddenzee and Radio Seagull.
